The Concepts of Safety Workshop

According to Training Requirements in OSHA Standards and Training Guidelines, U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety & Health Administration, www.osha.gov, "Many standards promulgated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) explicitly require the employer to train employees in the safety and health aspects of their jobs. Other OSHA standards make it the employer's responsibility to limit certain job assignments to employees who are "certified," "competent," or "qualified" - meaning that they have had special previous training, in or out of the workplace. The term "designated" personnel means selected or assigned by the employer or the employer's representative as being qualified to perform specific duties. These requirements reflect OSHA's belief that training is an essential part of every employer's safety and health program for protecting workers from injuries and illnesses. Many researchers conclude that those who are new on the job have a higher rate of accidents and injuries than more experienced workers."

So how can you, the employer, train all your employees to be safe on the job? Plus how much will it cost? You have your hands full just trying to run your business. What can you do?

By scheduling a "Concepts of Safety" workshop you can have qualified employees that not only know how to follow management rules and think on their own, but can teach your other employees to do the same.

You can get all of this for a fraction of what it would cost elsewhere.

We, at Homeland America are up front with our costs. Most two-day workshops cost around $1600 per person. At Homeland America the cost is only $365 per person for the two-day workshop (for a minimum of 20 employees).

PLUS, the "Concepts of Safety" workshop is "training that keeps on training." Other trainers stop when the class is over. At Homeland America, that is when we really get started. Our students are students for life. Your employees working with Homeland America's "Safety Net" will always find the updated materials they need to keep your company safe without additional cost to the employer. The "Safety Net" is a type of "continuing education" which employees have access to via this website.

"Many researchers conclude that those who are new on the job have a higher rate of accidents and injuries than more experienced workers." If you have a big turn over or just a small business, you need the "Concepts of Safety" workshop!
